Tea Bag Holder and No Glue Treat Box

Today's Project is a Tea Bag Holder and No Glue Treat Box

It all started out fine, until it failed. Well, you know what they say about failing, it just leads to new adventures. My Box was suppose to be my Tea Bag Holder, lol. Measurements weren't working so it became a box instead. At least I didn't waist the paper! I hope you enjoy today's project!

Tea Bag Holder
(made from a Candy Holder by Dianne Sineros as seen on youtube)

Start with a 6"x6" piece of dsp.

Fold in half, corner to corner.

With the fold on the left side of your Simply Scored, score at 1/2", flip and do again keeping your fold on the left side.

Put the fold at the top and score at 2 3/4", flip and do again.

Start folding with the 2 3/4" score, make sure the design you want to be on the inside is facing up!

Fold the other side the same way and your paper should look like this:

Fold in half on your score line, point to point.

Fold back on the score line:

Then flip over and fold back:

It should look like this on the inside and from the side:

Put points together and punch for a tie or ribbon.

Fill and decorate and your done!!

So Easy and Fun!

No Glue Envelope Punch Board Box

Start with a 6"x6" piece of dsp.

Using you Envelope Punch Board, punch and score at 2" on all four sides.

Then go back and line up your score line with the point on the punch, punch and score again, do this on all four sides.

Score each point even with the rounded sides:

Fold on all score lines.

Take the small triangle shapes and pinch:

Bring edges together and crease, then burnish to make a crisp, flat tab on the inside.

Everything should look like this now:

Bring down the point at the score line and fold over one of the creased tabs. Do for all four points.

Place a 2 1/4" square scrap inside to hold everything in place and here you go!

Move around to square it up. If you want a lid just repeat. They will fit together nicely with a pinch!

I hope yu enjoyed today's tutorial! Have a great week!
