Throwback Thursday: Party Panda and Seaside Shore

Hello Everyone!

Throwback Thursdays will be all about using what you have; Stamp Sets and Colors we love so much we want to keep using them, as well as retired DSP we need to use up.

Today I decided to choose Party Panda and Seaside Shore Stamp Sets. They are totally different from one another, I know! I have no idea why I decided to put them together. Party Panda is one of my favorites though, I must say. I think I will have a difficult time giving that one up, ever!

I will be using Whole lot of Lovely and Naturally Eclectic DSP with the Party Panda Stamp Set and pulled out the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I used By the Shore DSP with Seaside Shore Stamp Set and Soft Sky Card Stock which was a favorite color of mine.

Hope you enjoyed today's post. Happy Stamping!

In the Word Wednesday: Psalm 46:10

Psalm 46:10

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth".

The Lord promises to take care of us.  He is our refuge and strength. He tells us not to worry because He's got this. He takes care of everything. He controls everything. At His command, the world and the people will know He is Lord. Just look at everything, you can see His wondrous works! Just "be still" and you will know too!  The chapter ends with, "The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress".

Amen! What an Awesome God we serve! Thank You Lord for your promises!

Inspired from the picture above

May God Bless You, have a wonderful week!

Technique Tuesday: Smooching

Smooching

I am trying a new thing here. I want to start having a purposeful blog with some order. So I am going to start doing "theme" days.
Monday Musings
Technique Tuesdays
In the Word Wednesdays
Throwback Thursdays
Embossing Folder Fridays
Saturday Shares

Today is Technique Tuesday and I am going to show you how I do this technique.

Make a pocket using a ziplock baggie. Cut three sides off the bag, leaving it attached on one side.

Lay bag open and add drops(dots or lines) of re-inker to the inside of your pocket.

Spitz some water on the drops and close the bag.
Move the ink around with your fingers until you get the desired mix.

Lay paper over the ink.
Rub
Flip over and dab any very wet areas with a paper towel.

In this one (on water color papter) I placed over both sides of the pocket.

Because using water color paper doesn't allow a "flow", I spritz paper after adding the color.
This one is on Whisper White Card Stock, the flow was much better.
This can be somewhat messy, lol!

Here are the final results, hope you like them!

St. Patrick's Day Treat Holder

St. Patrick's Day Treat Holder

Hello everybody! It's been an extremely long time since I have been on. Life gets in the way sometimes. I have been ill, computer was down, bought a new computer and had to learn how to use it, had the grandson (worth it!) and ill again. Actually I am still ill but able to get about now so here I am!!
I had a lot of fun making a bunch of these cute Treat Holders for Stamp Club coming up at the end of the month. I hope you girls enjoy them. Give me a shout out to which flavor chocolate you enjoy best, mine is the Caramel and the Peppermint. Yummy!

The measurements and directions are as follows:
Dsp: 9 3/4" x 3 1/2" ( watch the direction of your paper)
Score at 3 1/4" on each end
Cut the right end on the diagonal, from score line to tip
Glue a thin line on the bottom of the cut flap and adhere to the middle flap
Tie a ribbon around and decorate

Yup! It's that easy!

Here are a few other cards that I have made recently.
I Love this layout!

You will find this featured DSP in our Occassions Catalog! I colored the Roaster with our Stamin' Blends. Love that coloring!

Quick card made with a card that is like our Memories and More cards, as the center piece.

This one is the card that I made my hubby for his birthday. I put a gift card on the insert for Lowe's. Now he can go shopping!

Let me know if you would like to see me make any of these cards. I can feature them in upcoming blogs if you would like.

Don't forget you can shop with me at http://craftingfool.stampinup.net and help me be able to produce more posts and videos for you to enjoy!

Have a great Stamping week! Hope you enjoyed!
