Feeling A Little Country!

Today I was feeling a little bit country so I tried out the Country Livin' Stampin' Up! Stamp Set.

Supplies Needed today will be:
Marina Mist Card Stock- 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
3 Whisper White Card Stock Pieces- 3 3/4" x 5", plus a scrap
Night of Navy Card Stock- 5 1/4" x 4"
Marina Mist Classic Ink
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Country Livin' Stamp Set
Rose Wonder Stamp Set
Thank You Stamp
Layering Oval Framelits
Large Oval Punch
Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon
Big Shot
and some bling!
Glitter Dots
First fold Marina Mist Card Stock to make a card base.
Adhere Night of Navy Card Stock to front of base.

Run one sheet of Whisper White Card Stock through the Big Shot
in the Wood grain Textured Impression Embossing folder.

And then..
(the face you make when your paper tears and you need to change what you were going to do!)

So now we tear the embossed piece in three pieces and sponge Marina Mist Ink over all.
Adhere all of the pieces of Whisper White then cut with an oval framelit.
Cut the next size up, scalloped framelit in Marina Mist.
Adhere together.

Run ribbon around embossed sheet.
Add another small piece over that and fix with two brads so that they just show outside of the Oval when placed.
Then adhere embossed sheet to Night of Navy.
Place dimensionals on the back of the Ovals.
Place over ribbon.

Stamp your setiment on the last piece of Whisper White Card Stock.
Adhere. Add some bling inside and out!

Okay, that's it, easy peezy!
Remember, sometimes you have to go with the flow.
I tore the embossed sheet on accident so I decided to just tear it into strips.
Not what I was planning to do but it worked out.

Blue Ice Technique

Good Morning Stampers!

Here in Indiana the weather is still a bit nippy but the forecast is looking up! Could it be spring is on the way? Hopefully!

Today's card is another "Ice" card, this time in Blue. I Love it!

Let's have a go at it, shall we?

The supplies you will need are:
Two pieces Whisper White Card Stock 4" x 5 1/4" plus a scrap for stamping on
Silver Foil Card 4" x 5 1/2"
Pacific Point Card Stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Pacific Point Ink
Basic Gray Ink
Crumb Cake Ink
Old Olive Ink
Basic Black Ink
Versa Mark
Clear Embossing Powder
Every Day Label Punch
Black Metallic Thread
Heat Gun
High Tide Stamp Set
Sea Side Textured Impression Embossing Folder
Big Shot

First you drag your ink pad across the Silver Foil card stock, then dry with a Heat Gun.
Run through the Big Shot using the Sea Side Textured Impression Embossing Folder.
Only use one platform or it will cut through your paper. (Don't ask how I know, geez..)

Dab your Versa Mark Pad all over the stamped paper until nice and coated.
Now cover your paper with Clear Embossing Powder.

Heat with the heating gun until shinny.

Stamp Lighthouse, using Bacis Gray and Pacific Point, and the Sand, using Crumb Cake, on your scrap of Whisper White Card Stock.
 Cut out your image.

Stamp words, using Pacific Point on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.
Punch out the words using the Everyday Label Punch.
Sponge Pacific Point ink on the edges of your label.

On the second piece of Whisper White stamp as follows:
Stamp the flying Seagulls in Basic Black.
Stamp the words Pacific Point.
Stamp the Sand in Crumb Cake. Stamp the grass in Old Olive.
Add the standing Seagulls in Basic Gray.

Fold your Pacific Point card stock in half.
Adhere your foil piece to your card base.
I used liquid multipurpose glue  because of the texture of the foil paper.
Place Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of your stamped and cut pieces.
Place Black Metallic Thread behind label before placing on card front.
Place all pieces on card front.

Adhere inside panel to inside of card. There you go. I love this look!

What do you think?
Thanks for coming by today. Come back again!
Deb B.
